SIX YEARS

So, I can say I officially left secondary school yesterday after six good years. In commemoration with this event, I wrote a poem (which I obviously love doing) to show what it was like for me and some of my classmates alike. Hope you do enjoy this bit and looking forward to better days. It has been six years, Six years of some fears, Six years of getting to meet new people, Six years of tolerance, Six years of great perseverance. Six years of learning, Six years of discovery, It's been six years. Six years of excitement, Six years of some lasting disagreements. Six years of achievements, Six years under the same management. It has been six years of regular change, Six years of lasting friendships. For some, it hasn't been up to six. Six years of slight rebellion, Six years that might have been annoying at some point. Six years of joyous moments for all, Six years of both good and bad experiences, It is our six years in

CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

I know i'm a month behind children's day but it's never too late.  This poem is to celebrate childhood.  Enjoy!!!! A time of ignorance, Days of insolence Then we lived with carefreeness but Now we live with carefulness. Our days without cares have gone by And our days with slight fears have come by. We once were like free birds, Trying to explore the crust and seabed. Days of great dreams, Bigger than what life beams At times we were like wildflowers, And other times like patches with rose flowers. Days of fun and craze, With lots of happiness in every phase For some, it was days of audaciousness Whilst for others it was days of meticulousness. Memories bound by joy and love shared with family and coves.
