It's yuletide season again and I feel obliged to share some of my favourite recipes. We'll take this in bits. Patacones      Ever since I stumbled upon this delicacy on what my brother calls "German TV" (DW: Deutsche Welle), I fell in love with unripe plantain (green plantain). This is one of the ways I can eat green plantain without worrying about the taste (another is unripe plantain porridge which BTW is so AWESOME). Mark made so many visits to the house; eventually an elderly woman came to answer the door.     Good day readers, while thinking about what to post, I decided to post a list of some things that I once wanted to do and some things that I still want to do. I really do not know why I always wanted that but I am fulfilled with my little space on this blog. Ø   Cycling        I have always admired bicycles but unfortunately haven’t gotten to learn how to ride. I think the major setback is my fear of getting injured whilst learning to ride.
