AWAY ON A FRENCH LEAVE

     Good day my dear viewers. Happy New Year and i pray that the year shall be a good one for us all. I've been seeing the "New Year, new you" phrase virtually everywhere but i don't think it’s a "new you" but just different character(s) but that is by the way. My main reason for posting today is inform my lovely people (YOU) that I will sadly not be able to post until around the mid-year because I have some mad preparations to do for my upcoming exams. Hope you will understand, wish me luck and hope to post in June or earlier if possible. Have a blast of a day/night wherever you are.

  Hello peeps, how has the month been? I’ve been playing coward for a while now, let me tell you why. I read a book some weeks back—which I stumbled upon by the way—and I was like it’s something I’d like to make a blog post about but I have been “shifting post” ever since. I have decided to take the bull by the horns and do it anyways.     Hmm!! Where do I start? Okay, this book I’m talking about is titled VIOLENCE written by FESTUS IYAYI and I’d say it was a good—real good—read. The time in which the story was set wasn’t really stated but I figure it was set sometime in the 70s going but the copyright and an account somewhere in the book. The storyline spans roughly 2-3 weeks, my guess being right.     The plot revolves basically around two couples, one affluent and the other poverty stricken. AND THE LOCKDOWN CONTINUES

  It's no news that the lockdown has been extended and even if the lockdown isn't charting it's full course in certain cities and places, movement and activities that we've grown used to are restricted. While the isolation may not be much of a big deal for some, I'm sure it has some bored to the wits and maybe at the brink of insanity (who knows?) While the lockdown persists, I have made another list. (Remember the last one? ) Limit the amount of news you take in: social media sure has its ways of bringing enlightenment and I'm certain you have been at the receiving end of a plethora of BCs here and there. Whilst some of these might be valid, there is always room for false news. Staying in the loop with what is going on shouldn't mean wolfing down every little bit of news that swings your way (especially without making your own findings).
