HELPING HELPS

Hello my people, my sincerest apologies for not continuing this story since. Well, this is the next part of the story hope you do enjoy it. have a blissful month

  Having tried to reunite with her family members and loved ones but no luck, she decided to move on with her life in her new environment. She took up different menial jobs due to the effect of the natural disaster. The last job she took was that of a nanny and help hand to a rich family (Bills) and that is how she came to her present house. While working in this house, she looked after the family and the house as if they were her personal property. Her attitude endeared her to her employers who equally reciprocated her gesture. As time went on, the family employed younger girls to work for them while Mrs. Park was made the supervisor of the other workers in the house.

Mr. Bill grew old and frail and he passed on at a very old age, as the tradition in that part of the world, the will of Mr. Bill was read in the presence of the family members, in the will the house the Bills lived was given to the old woman.

What happened to Mark’s dream of a college education?   

Mark was intrigued by the Mrs. Park’s story that he felt there was still a possibility of locating some of the old woman’s surviving family members since she still remembered great deal about her past.

Mark thought to himself, “How can I help her in this matter, I feel strongly that one of her relatives might just be alive”. Having given the idea a thought for some days, Mark decided to visit an agency in a neighbouring town that helped people locate and reunite with their lost loved ones. Mark’s desire to earn a college degree was kept on.

At the agency he met an official who asked some questions.

“Good day sir”, Mark greeted the official at his desk. “Hello, how can we help you”, responded the official who was Mr. George Evans. “I have come to know how your agency can help locate loved ones”, Mark answered.” What is your relationship with this person”, Mr. George inquired from Mark. “They are actually the relations of an old woman am just trying to assist “, Mark said.  “In that case let the old woman come herself so that we can get the correct pieces of information from her,” Mr. George advised.  “Thank you very much sir, I would bring her to your agency soon,” Mark replied.

On his way out of the agency, he thought of how to get the old woman to the agency since he was mobile.  Being one of his off days at the grocery store he decided to go tell the old woman the good news at once.  

 Mark got to the Mrs. Park’s house and knocked on her door. “Who is at the door”, she asked. “It is me Mark”, he retorted. She walked to the door and let Mark in.  Mark told her about his findings, she was impressed and interested in going with him to the agency at a date convenient for them.

Mark went about his work and cleaning job, Steve one of high school classmates came to the store to pick some items and Mark asked him to help convey them (Mark and Mrs. Park) with his car  to the agency on the appointed  date and he agreed.
