Need your help!!!

  Hello people, a while ago I saw a writing contest and decided to send in my entry. Anyway my entry was accepted and it is now up to vote to determine the winner. Below is my entry for the competition:

You

You wake up this morning at 7:30

You sit up on the bed wondering if your life is all a tragedy

You remember graduating four years back with a first class

You remember being consistently good student, making all A's

You gloat at your present situation of joblessness

And realize you got there by your recklessness,

You reminisce about when things were better

You recall when you'd leisure drive in your Highlander.

But, you now realize it was all a mirage,

A pleasant dream you wish you woke up from a year earlier.

Oh! Reality dawns that you have been out of job for a year already

But it feels like five years in your head that's all foggy.

It is six forty-five AM and you wish you had where to go

You then realize you really have nowhere to,

You wish you could get on a plane to the clouds,

You wish you could throw your pains and worries all out.

You set out by 7AM for some job hustling

You stop by the mirror and like other days hoped to find something rewarding.

You later stop to grab a bite and you see an old friend,

You two talk at length and you begin to regret some events.

Your old friend keeps chattering despite you being blank.

You regret bitterly what led to your sack,

You also recall why you let go of the Highlander,

You wish she didn't go but you reason with her.

You get stressed and tensed and decide to leave,

You bid farewells and wonder what you could start yourself.

You get home still pondering and suddenly realize a thought that had been roaming in your mind for some months.

You walk towards the mirror staring and you see that hope had been there all the while, you just couldn't see.
