HEALTHY HABITS

Habits are definitely part of our day to day lives, they are things or traits that we pick up oftentimes unknowingly be it good or bad habits. I suck at intros at times, so, Id dive into the 4 healthy habits I have to share with yall today:

Gratitude: I doubt it can ever be over-flogged how important gratitude is, it sure feels like an essential in the survival kit of life on planet earth. However, an entitlement mentality (that seems to be gaining more traction nowadays) can often get in the way of one feeling the need to be grateful under all circumstances. Notwithstanding, gratitude is a real healthy habit to cultivate, finding reasons to be grateful no matter how little on a daily basis is definitely needed to add meaning to ones day.
Exercise: if I were to make a list of 100 things I suck at, no doubt, exercising (conscious workout) would have one of the top spots on that list. That aside, exercising keeps the whole body fit (from the limbs, abs, to the heart) and the mind running well. It has a relaxing effect as well regardless the paradox of it putting strain on your body. If you are yet to make exercise a habit of yours, I suggest you should cos it holds numerous benefits for different parts of the body. Be it jogs, runs, brisk walks, HIIT, circuit training, whatever it is, just keep it moving.

Consciousness of flaws: we are humans and essentially made up of flaws aside bones, muscles, tissues, ligament and every other thing scientists say we are made of. Being conscious of the flaws of other humans as well as yourself sure makes it easy to get over disappointments, breached trust and whatever the flaws in us may throw at other humans around us. Acknowledging flaws helps limit expectations from fellow humans and in turn leaves little space for shattering. This may not be as upbeat as the other points, nonetheless, it is a habit I believe is worth taking up.

Journaling: I have made a post about this before and then again, Id say it here. Journaling is a healthy habit to adopt. From putting things in perspective, to recording events to getting your creativity flowing, journaling most definitely holds quite some benefits for whoever takes it up.

That there is my list of healthy habits to adopt, as the year is winding up, it sure is a good time to lay hold of new habits in preparation for the incoming year.

Do you agree with the above list? What healthy habits do you have or intend to pick up soon? Id love to hear this and more in the comments section

Truly
Mina.
