HELPING HELPS (THE CONCLUSION)

What happened at the agency? When they got to the agency, Mr. George asked Mrs. Park the necessary questions which were properly documented to help the agency work on her case.  They were asked to leave a contact number with which they could get across to them if the agency had any information for them. The agency set out to work and after a month they were able to contact one of Mrs. Park’s relations so they asked for the old woman to come to their office to meet the person. Who was this member of her family? The gentleman that showed up at the agency on the appointed date turned out to be Mrs. Park’s son, he owned a conglomerate in the capital city. With the reunion, Mr. Park took his mother to come live with his family members. While in her son’s house, she was able to reunite with other surviving members of her family. So what happened to Mark? Having been able to solve Mrs. Park‘s issue, Mark decided to go to college as he has always desired. While in the college he

HELPING HELPS

Hello my people, my sincerest apologies for not continuing this story since. Well, this is the next part of the story hope you do enjoy it. have a blissful month   Having tried to reunite with her family members and loved ones but no luck, she decided to move on with her life in her new environment. She took up different menial jobs due to the effect of the natural disaster. The last job she took was that of a nanny and help hand to a rich family (Bills) and that is how she came to her present house. While working in this house, she looked after the family and the house as if they were her personal property. Her attitude endeared her to her employers who equally reciprocated her gesture. As time went on, the family employed younger girls to work for them while Mrs. Park was made the supervisor of the other workers in the house. Mr. Bill grew old and frail and he passed on at a very old age, as the tradition in that part of the world, the will of Mr. Bill was read in the presence
It has been quite a while since I posted- had some things doing- during my “away time”, I stumbled upon a book by James Patterson titled ‘JACK AND JILL’-it is more of a classic published in 1996- set majorly in a black American community and Washington D.C . It is what I can actually call a good read (least I forget it is a part of the Alex Cross series in case you have seen something about that before) with a plot that I found fascinating to follow. This book majorly involves investigation of murder and homicide cases by the main character- Alex Cross- and his longtime friend -Detective Sampson a.k.a Man Mountain- alongside some other detectives. In this book, there were two major killers, one who killed young children in Alex’s neighbourhood and another (a duo) that killed various important personalities leaving short poems for the investigators to feed their minds on. Skilled investigators began to reason that the main target was the fictitious president of the United States

Need your help!!!

Hello people, a while ago I saw a writing contest and decided to send in my entry. Anyway my entry was accepted and it is now up to vote to determine the winner. Below is my entry for the competition: You You wake up this morning at 7:30 You sit up on the bed wondering if your life is all a tragedy You remember graduating four years back with a first class You remember being consistently good student, making all A's You gloat at your present situation of joblessness And realize you got there by your recklessness, You reminisce about when things were better You recall when you'd leisure drive in your Highlander. But, you now realize it was all a mirage, A pleasant dream you wish you woke up from a year earlier. Oh! Reality dawns that you have been out of job for a year already But it feels like five years in your head that's all foggy. It is six forty-five AM and you wish you had where to go You then realize you really have nowhere

Food story

It is a known fact by people round me that I am quite a foodie. So, I wrote a poem to embrace my inner "foodieness". When I see him, my head rises like a frying donut immediately I see him and I become 'jellified' instantly Our friendship like water is well accepted And our feelings God-blessed His words are as sweet as sugar His appearance attracts me like an insect to nectar Even though our journey has been tough like my hair We won't give room to our worst fears His skin as smooth as an apple's Our fear for God very ample His smile is like cool breeze when it is sunny His gaze as delightful as honey Tough, we’ve been through terrible times But our friendship still remains food tied

SIX YEARS

So, I can say I officially left secondary school yesterday after six good years. In commemoration with this event, I wrote a poem (which I obviously love doing) to show what it was like for me and some of my classmates alike. Hope you do enjoy this bit and looking forward to better days. It has been six years, Six years of some fears, Six years of getting to meet new people, Six years of tolerance, Six years of great perseverance. Six years of learning, Six years of discovery, It's been six years. Six years of excitement, Six years of some lasting disagreements. Six years of achievements, Six years under the same management. It has been six years of regular change, Six years of lasting friendships. For some, it hasn't been up to six. Six years of slight rebellion, Six years that might have been annoying at some point. Six years of joyous moments for all, Six years of both good and bad experiences, It is our six years in

CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

I know i'm a month behind children's day but it's never too late.  This poem is to celebrate childhood.  Enjoy!!!! A time of ignorance, Days of insolence Then we lived with carefreeness but Now we live with carefulness. Our days without cares have gone by And our days with slight fears have come by. We once were like free birds, Trying to explore the crust and seabed. Days of great dreams, Bigger than what life beams At times we were like wildflowers, And other times like patches with rose flowers. Days of fun and craze, With lots of happiness in every phase For some, it was days of audaciousness Whilst for others it was days of meticulousness. Memories bound by joy and love shared with family and coves.
Hope this lovely poem set you out a good foot this lovely morning TUESDAY A day of recovering From the weekends partying and shopping And Monday's stress A day that preps you For the rest of the week ’ s twirls With more convenience A day with an energetic blast A day you won't want to be your last A day you wish came to a quick-slow end A day of gratitude to God For the feats achieved previously A day you consider lovely Enjoy the best of the month of July By Magnanimous Ben

THE REVIEW: AMERICANAH

Some weeks ago, i stumbled upon this book with my coz and decided that i must definitely read it while on an 11-day break from my pretty stressful exams. I actually had had an encounter with the book like a year ago with one of my English teachers, asked if I could borrow sit, though it was declined. I got another book by the same author which turned out interesting. This book “Americanah” revolves around the lives of two people; Ifemelu who was from a home with an extremely religious mother and a father who spoke fluently so as to hide his insecurities (as implied by the writer) even though he wished he had a post graduate education. And Obinze whose Father died when he was just 7 years of age and a mother who worked in a university in Nsukka, Nigeria.  The book keeps a good touch with both the past and present of the main characters.   The book begins with the present where Ifemelu is in Princeton, America, owns a blog and plans on going back to Nigeria after her fellowship

BAG OF TROUBLES

I am temporarily back and I decided to pacify you with this short story. ENJOY!!!!! During gym class, John's mind was wandering as he remembered when he once mistook another person's bag to be his. With a smirk on his face, he reminisced the whole experience. It was a bright Thursday morning which was one of the days gym classes held. Some days before the gym class, John got a new backpack which unknown to him was similar to that of Susan, a girl whom he had gym classes with. That fateful day, everyone got a change of clothes in preparation for gym class and dropped their bags in front of the changing room. After the tedious exercise which involved jumping on lean horses without falling off (a balance test) everyone went to get their bags and that was when he picked up Susan’s bag instead of his and headed to the cafeteria because it was lunch break. At the cafeteria, John got to the serving table and picked up his tray served with a sponge cake, fried rice wi

AWAY ON A FRENCH LEAVE

Good day my dear viewers. Happy New Year and i pray that the year shall be a good one for us all. I've been seeing the "New Year, new you" phrase virtually everywhere but i don't think it ’ s a "new you" but just different character(s) but that is by the way. My main reason for posting today is inform my lovely people (YOU) that I will sadly not be able to post until around the mid-year because I have some mad preparations to do for my upcoming exams. Hope you will understand, wish me luck and hope to post in June or earlier if possible. Have a blast of a day/night wherever you are.
