MINI SERIES PT 1: THE POWER OF WORDS

Hello guys!  I remember mentioning that I'd be starting a mini series this week in my previous post. I read this book a while back (can't remember which month it was) and I'd say i was literally blessed. The book just basically expanded my knowledge on how much weight our words carry. The book titled THE POWER OF YOUR WORDS written by E.W KENYON and DON GOSSETT was an awesome read and also inspired me to start this mini series.

So to kick off the mini series, I bring you some snippets from the book aforementioned hoping they'd bless you to an extent. Enjoy!!

1. Faith holds fast to the confession of the word, sense knowledge holds fast to the confession of physical evidence.

2. Hold fast to the confession of the Word even in the face of apparent contradictions – EW Kenyon

3. Our confession centres around several things:
-    What God in Christ has wrought for us.
-    What God through His Word and Spirit has wrought in us.
-    What we are to the Father in Christ.
-    What God can do through us. What the Word can do in our lips.

4. Confession is faith’s way of expressing itself. Faith never goes beyond confession.

5. Wrong confession glorifies the adversary.

6. The Word will heal you if you continually confess it.

7. We are to obey the Word as we’d obey Jesus if He stood in our presence cos He’s the Word.

8. Your success and usefulness in this world is going to be measured by your confession and the tenacity with which you hold fast to that confession under all circumstances or the opinion of men.

9. Not only our thinking but our words, conversations build power or weakness into us.

10. What you confess is what you possess – Don Gossett.

11. It is when we confess the Word of God, declare them with emphasis and hold fast to our confession that we see our deliverance.

12. Confession is saying what God has said in His Word concerning a certain thing.

13. To hold fast your confession is to say what God has said over and over until the desired thing in your heart that has been promised in God’s Word is fully manifested.
