WEIRD-ISH 2: Happiness

I'm back, with more weirdness. This particular write up was written "just because". So, I wanted to write something with some element of sentimentalism. HAPPINESS was what I thought up. Hoping it would be a pleasurable read.

   Happiness is a choice but it can be a hard one to make at times. Times when one is faced with every saddening thing possible, it's hard to choose happiness. Times when one is up against the worst occurrences, it's hard to choose happiness. Times when life throws rocks and hauls boulders one's way, it's hard to choose happiness.

Choose to happy irrespective of situations that glare at you with their ugly faces. Choose to be happy though, it's hard in the face of adversity. Choose to be happy cos sadness hardly ever proffers solution.

   Choose to be happy, choose to look adversity in the face with a smile playing on your lips and glittery eyes. Refuse depression from laying a grasp on you. Choose to hold fast to your joy. It could be hard, I know,but make the effort,take the decision. Happiness, mirth, joy should be the words playing around you when sadness comes knocking. Look for the flicker of light in every dim situation around. Strike a match of happiness to shove sadness out the door. Make a conscious effort to be happy. Choose to be happy.

  Hello peeps, how has the month been? I’ve been playing coward for a while now, let me tell you why. I read a book some weeks back—which I stumbled upon by the way—and I was like it’s something I’d like to make a blog post about but I have been “shifting post” ever since. The storyline spans roughly 2-3 weeks, my guess being right.     The plot revolves basically around two couples, one affluent and the other poverty stricken. GROWING UP BIG FOOT

Howdy mates!!!! Over the past week, I found myself brainstorming on what to write next for this blog. Honestly, blogging the way I do (writing articles) can be much of a work at times. Some days, I just sit in front of my screen, staring blankly, with no idea on what exactly to write about. Other days, I could have numerous ideas floating in my head, sometimes, I’m lucky enough to get most of them down and fleshed up, other times, I get to just a couple and the rest fly away or just don’t seem as interesting as the initial thought. Today’s post is several years old but it still rings true and possesses the same initial vibe it had. And, guess what? It is not as particularly serious as my last couple of posts have been--just something on a lighter note.
