WEIRD-ISH: Lightning

  Welcome y'all to the first installment of the WEIRD-ISH series. This is probably the weirdest of the posts I've got in store. Enjoy.

   THUNDER by IMAGINE DRAGONS left me not only bopping my head but thinking. Sounds weird? Well, my thoughts created a correlation and contrast between LIGHTNING and THUNDER. I definitely prefer lightning. I feel like it sums me up. You only see LIGHTNING but you hear THUNDER (more like a racket). They both start off at the same time (based on science) but LIGHTNING touches down first as it isn't preoccupied with a show of noise unlike THUNDER.

   Lightning is more “impactful” than it seems. It does kill (struck by lightning?) but certainly doesn't look it. Thunder, on the other hand is pretty much all bark, no bite. Just a racket to make fear set in but in the long run, it doesn't hurt per se. My inference from all of this is; quite a number of times, it's best to be seen than heard. Let your works speak for you (just like LIGHTNING and it's striking abilities). Don't pay much attention to making a show but make IMPACT.

  Hello peeps, how has the month been? I’ve been playing coward for a while now, let me tell you why. I read a book some weeks back—which I stumbled upon by the way—and I was like it’s something I’d like to make a blog post about but I have been “shifting post” ever since. The time in which the story was set wasn’t really stated but I figure it was set sometime in the 70s going but the copyright and an account somewhere in the book. The storyline spans roughly 2-3 weeks, my guess being right.     The plot revolves basically around two couples, one affluent and the other poverty stricken. GROWING UP BIG FOOT

Howdy mates!!!! Over the past week, I found myself brainstorming on what to write next for this blog. Honestly, blogging the way I do (writing articles) can be much of a work at times. Some days, I just sit in front of my screen, staring blankly, with no idea on what exactly to write about. Other days, I could have numerous ideas floating in my head, sometimes, I’m lucky enough to get most of them down and fleshed up, other times, I get to just a couple and the rest fly away or just don’t seem as interesting as the initial thought. Today’s post is several years old but it still rings true and possesses the same initial vibe it had. And, guess what? It is not as particularly serious as my last couple of posts have been--just something on a lighter note. I currently stand somewhere between  5ft 9’ and 5ft 10’ and by NBA standards, I’m nothing near tall (probably been seeing too many NBA games of recent).
