AND THE LOCKDOWN CONTINUES

It's no news that the lockdown has been extended and even if the lockdown isn't charting it's full course in certain cities and places, movement and activities that we've grown used to are restricted. While the isolation may not be much of a big deal for some, I'm sure it has some bored to the wits and maybe at the brink of insanity (who knows?)

While the lockdown persists, I have made another list. (Remember the last one?)

  • Limit the amount of news you take in: social media sure has its ways of bringing enlightenment and I'm certain you have been at the receiving end of a plethora of BCs here and there. Whilst some of these might be valid, there is always room for false news. Staying in the loop with what is going on shouldn't mean wolfing down every little bit of news that swings your way (especially without making your own findings).

  • Catch up on your reading list: maybe you've seen a book you fancied reading but never seemed to get the time to start reading it. Maybe you have an entire library of ebooks that you have barely started with. Well, good news, you have the time now (I know you know). Tick some books off that list.

  • Don't forget life/routine before the pandemic: Guilty as charged. I tend to forget for a minute my student status. Thing with this is, there is a tendency for one to slip into the mundane routine of wake-eat-sleep-repeat, making it a bit of a struggle to get back to life as it once was when this phase is all over. Reach out to those in your circles too

  • Improve yourself with any of the numerous challenges out there: even if the #stayathomechallenge may be getting a bit out of hand, there are still some that would leave you feeling better and more creative after engaging in them. Be it bread baking, photography, writing or even creative challenges, there sure is one for you.

  • Most importantly: Time is just an illusion! Don't leave those tasks from prior till tomorrow.

Meanwhile:

  • When last did you get some sun?
  • How are you sports buff making it through these times with suspended leagues and tournaments?
  • My dear soda addicts, how are you holding up with less frequent supply of sodas?🙃
Let us know in the comments section.
