TRUSTING THE PROCESS

The world as we know it functions smoothly or otherwise as a result of processes. There is the process for water to leave the earth only to return as precipitation. There the process for fields to yield crops (even if this has recently seen modifications). There’s the process for a child to become an adult. There is the process for your heart to send blood round your body. Some of these processes differ in details depending on the end product of the process. And every process, intricate, complex or simple births a change.

As time and seasons change, humans adapt. Daily activities that once consumed chunks of our time, now aided by technology are significantly faster and seamless to achieve. I align with the thoughts of this newly found ease and swiftness affecting our patience and endurance levels.

At times,we grow impatient-- over little and big things alike-- forgetting that there is a process to things. Forgetting that humans just like crops, yield at different rates. Trust the process regardless how slow it might seem. We get impatient periodically (sometimes often) forgetting that great things hardly appear magically. There are levels to things. Though, it might be a tad bit difficult to sever from the fast pace and rapid results we have become used to, patience is all we need at times.

We can not fully understand just being and life as a whole. Regardless how much you are tempted to dispute, there is a higher power at play. And, we can’t have control over every single thing that pertains to our lives and living. Life tends to be ‘interactive’ -- for lack of a better term-- causing certain things to be beyond our control regardless how much they affect us. Trust the process,  though things you constantly position yourself to receive seem to delay, it would come to you eventually. Trust that your years of eager waiting and aggressive preparation would be worthwhile when that which you waited for shows up. Trust that tough times don’t last forever. Trust that your present stage is readying you for something way better and build yourself while you wait.

Trust the process.
